Large Serving/ Charcuterie Board

This tray has many unique components. First, it is reversible. On the opposite side there is a completely different design and is a finished cutting board.
The charcuterie side showcases a natural walnut cut of the tree called a “cookie” complete with its bark. Surrounding the walnut piece is a dark purple and black epoxy resin. The border of the piece is composed of mahogany, figured maple and an outer rim of paduk. Modern 8 3/4” brushed nickel handles complete the top.
On the other side of the board is a fully finished cutting board. This is primarily composed of a beautiful figured quilted maple, walnut, purple heard and mahogany stripes accent the maple. 
The board has been finished with a food safe combination of orange oil, beeswax and carnauba wax. This is liberally applied to both sides and allowed to soak into the grain overnight. Finally, a coat of “Wood Wax” is applied. Wood Wax is designed especially for cutting boards and uses vegetarian and plant based ingredients.
